The Learning Blog

This year was so awesome we went to camp, made awesome music & christmas videos. We made goop, rock candy & lip balm for science. For math we made bridges and cyndi used ours for a stool but then it broke. We made milkshakes and pizza on learning how to follow instructions. Yeah this year was awesome and I can’t wait for the summer because I’m not an early kind of person. I learned so much this and I actually paid some attention because at my other school we never did any thing fun so it was hard to pay any attention.

I liked the goop progect and going to camp.
I love school being out soon.
I like the tennis games because I play tennis at home all the time I love tennis. I liked talking to Bairdmore at school.

the funnest thing about camp was probably eating at a table with eric, aleshia, jeremy, matt and sarah (and me of course) it was really funny because we were making all these dumb jokes and just lauhing like crazy (ok it was only me and aleshia laughing but yah) and the food was REALLY good! diane the cook rocks! and kool aid is very yummy haha there was a spider above us and it wass coming down so everyone got out of the way and matt grabbed the hashbrowns! it was funny you had to be there though

This year is so cool because Mr. Hazzard is so cool and I am this year went by so fast and I can’t wait for next year though because we have Mr. Shaefer and he’s cool too and my fav. part of this year is making lipbalm (I still have lots) and well I will miss you and this class (if I pass)!!! I can’t wait to see my report card to see what it says!:) The part i hated most was camp kennserie because i wasn’t feeling good and puked ewwwwwwww……… but after all it was pretty fun………. hope to talk to you again

There is one thing I wont forget. that is I am the one who captured the flag. When I was trying to free the people on my team when I got taged. Then Jamie taged us then we went after the flag. Then I saw the flag and I just ran sfter it. There was a whole buch of people who going after me. Then somebody cought me I had to drop it then go to jall. Then somebody kicked it. When I got out of jall I headed streat for the flag. There wasn’t anybody there so I just took it. Someone helped me get a cross the border.
The most fun we had was playing Sponge Wars. There was a lot of people who got wet

The best thing about this year was when we went on trips and started music videos. Things we learned in a fun way . We learned stuff in a lot of ways like history webpages, placeing students in a line for integers, and music videos instead of dance. The class pet was a privellage for us to have in the class. We had fun this year and fun stuff like going on trips (kenneserrie and to dow) and we made a website (well two one history webpage and one all about me webpage). We had a great teacher and a great year with fun times. It was a great year.

At the moment i am too tired to remember anything really but I’ll try my best . This year i liked filming the music videos. It’s fun learning about that kind of stuff.I also liked building bridges and watching people eating the glue ( I was the only one in my group who didn’t eat it ).Camp was awesome and it was better then last year in some ways but it would have been funner if the Gr.8’s or Gr.6’s went .Somehow camp isn’t fun without another class.This year though was just a fun year doing everything soo…… I’m gonna stop writing now and say bye.

this year was pretty sweet, it was really cool having such a good teacher. ummm the best thing we did this year is deffinitly the videos it was really cool doing good charlotte. all the videos turned out really awesome! only 3 days left of the school year!!!! so exciting….

I do remember our bridges. When Cyndi was using our bridge for a stool and it broke when no-one was looking. All I heard was something cracking and then Lacey saying…long silence…”It broke.” Yep that was definitly the best part of the year(that I can remember).

I’m not too sure what you want written here, so I’ll just put what I assume you want. This year, I liked how a lot of the stuff was hands on, like in math and working with words. I thought that order of operations or algebra were the most fun, and new, in math. Using Dream Weaver was fun, and using Flash worked out pretty well too (except when the program called me and Eric stupid and exited itself). I liked using the computers a lot, and going to the wetlands was fun too.

Um… so have fun next year then, eh?

I think the year end is going to be the best but i am going to miss school when we are on summer vacation because i LOVE doing school work but the best part about the shool year is that i got to make new friends and make better choices for in the future but i get to go swimming everyday and hang out with my friend Natalie and go to the beach but i would rather go to a swimming pool but i wish everyone a great summer “peace”

year end reflections

Ok well this year I would have to say was the best ones ,
because we didn’t just sit around in class.

I realy like this year well only a few parts were messed up but we learned from them which was a good thing .
THIS SUMMER PLANS
. Wll Im going to go to work with my mom and get $50 a night but we are there from 8:00 pm to 5:00am the next morning
. Going camping with my best friend Erica
. My birthday is one July 24 Im turning 14 so thats good
. I will be doing lots of other stuff to .We are going to the Grand Canyon this summer too.

This year was a really fun year because I learned a lot about computers and had fun learning with Mr. Hazzard and Mrs. Callow. My favorite thing this year was working in dream weaver and working in healthy happenings.

All about me Fady

My name is Fady Morcos. I was born Giza, Cairo, and that’s in Egypt. My grandfather passed away when I was 10 years old. My uncle travelled to Canada when I was 6 years old. He lives in Winnipeg. When I was 5 I went to a city called Alexandria. We swam in the Mediterranean Sea. When I lived in Egypt I went to see the pyramids and the sphinx. They are huge!! The sphinx has faced the rising sun for thousands of years.
My parents moved to Canada when I was 10 years old because I wanted to learn English and my mom wanted to work as a pharmacist in Canada. In Egypt, my mom was working as a pharmacist. We came here by plane. We came over the Atlantic Ocean.
Now that I Live in Canada I go to Bairdmore School. My mom has to go to take a test to be a pharmacist in Canada.
I like being in Canada. I hope to visit Toronto this summer and when I am an adult, maybe I will live there.
I hope you enjoy my story.

hello, when we were at Camp Kenesserie what I liked the most was me Kayla Jeremy and Aleshia all fell off the swinging log, It really hurt because Aleshia fell on my arm and kayla fell on my leg and my bum and other leg was still on the log but after that all happend we were all laughing at us!! hahaha hehehe teehee teehee

At Camp I Played Chuck The Sock,Spounge Wars,A Chalk Game,Create Animals,Survival-and on day 2 we played capture the flag
every body got about 10 misqito bites and 4 meals and 1 snak and at night one of the parents noticed a fox snake in the girls wash room

Well I was not with my class when they went to camp , I was at my aunt Karen’s cottage . Mom and me were swimmimg most of the time, but we went walking in the woods and I fell on little pin thorn things.
We brought our dog J.D , he was always sleeping and eating . I went to see Pilgrum , he is a horse and went riding . I had homework and I did that too. The bad thing was is that I got bit by sceders(bugs) . It was realy fun but the getting up early could have stoped at any time.

at camp there was Zillions of mosqitos we got lots of mosqito bites we played sponge wars there at the end of sponge wars i was completly wet. after that we did archery i missed the target horrobly but it was fun. when i woke up the next day a hit my head on a wooden plank it hurt. and for breakfast we had pancakes and sausages.after that we did capture the flag i couldent find the flag but are team won.after that we went on to the bus everyone was tired. and thats all i remember at the camp.

sponge wars:on it you have to throw sponges at each other if you get hit you have to stand still and dont throw any sponges and call “Docter!”

capture the flag:when you go on the other teams side if you get caught you gotta go to “jail” the game ends when you capture the other teams flag

My favourite game at Camp Kennesserie would have to have been sponge wars. Sponge wars was fun because it was a very hot day, plus I got to hit my dad with a sponge (or spongeS, to be a little bit more fair). I also liked CTF, even though we couldn’t find our own flag ( we won though)! Gridlock was ok too, but I’m kind of bad at remembering all of the things we needed to do.

At camp, we played sponge wars, capture the flag, KJKJ(and no I never did find out what that stood for) , survival, gridlock, and a bunch of mini games. I think it was better the last time we went because there were less mosquitos, and the entire forest was flooded. When we had free time, I was almost always playing volleyball. After we were all supposed to be asleep, we heard the other girl’s cabin scream. They said that they were afraid of an elbow. So the rest of the night , we screamed about how elbows were so scary. I will always remember the elbow jokes and yelling our ABC’s when we washed our hands. Of course we couldn’t go swimming because the pool was green. Oh, and we ate so much junk food, most of it was gone by the time we left the camp to go home.

Hi my name is Shantal Friesen I’m 12 yrs old and these
Are some events in my life.

I was born February 20th 1993. I was born at
St. Boniface Hospital.

I think when I was 2 my brother Ike was born in
1995 May 4th also born in St. Boniface hospital.

I live in Winnipeg Manitoba. One of my favourite colours are
any kind of pink. And baby blue .

when I’m older I want to go to beauty school and become a hair
dresser and after a few years at least after I’m 23 I want to get in
music business.

I’m a model for panache modeling agency since grade 4 and than
I graduated from modeling school in grade 4.

I’m also an actress for panache and I graduated from acting
classes in the middle of summer of grade 5. Both acting and
modeling classes were a year except in different years
of experience. They were both fun my favourite model
walk was the banna split runway and the music from the grad
fashion show, were they would say your name and you actually
had to do an actual model pose like on t.v because It was a real
fashion show.

And every Saturday morning my family and I volunteer at
Winnipeg Harvest . Were this year my brother and I got
Rewarded by the lutenant Govener for are careing twords
Others . there was actually a ceremony called “Kids Who Care”

My name is Kelsey and I was born at Victoria Hospital September 15, 1993. I have a large family on both my parent’s sides. Although, in my house, I have my mother, father, sister, a dog named Kaluha, two hermit crabs, Herman and Sherman, and the most recent family member, Astrah, our farm kitten.
Sunday, June 5th my father and sister were returning home and, surprise! So did a kitten.
Some of my favourite things to do are; play with my kitten and dog, ride a chestnut brown horse named Par, (although he is grumpy to a lot of people me and my father are exceptions ). I also like to go on the computer, watch T.V. and just plain brush Par, or Cool, but Par is still my favourite.
I also have a small pond in my backyard full of fish, mostly catfish or carp, witch I always name no matter what.
But my favourite place to be is at my lake with my family and friends.
